The MedTech industry is facing unprecedented challenges in driving sales and revenue growth in an increasingly competitive market. To address these challenges, this explainer video aims to explore the potential of Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) as a powerful tool for transforming sales processes and enhancing customer experiences in the MedTech sector. I collaborated to create a 2D animated video with motion graphics in it explaining how Salesforce CPQ could be used for MedTech Sales Transformation. The video was designed using Adobe Illustrator for Illustrating the Styleframes or Storyboard, Adobe After Effects for animation and Adobe Premier Pro for Sound Design and mixing sfx.

Storyboard
From a visual perspective, we aimed to utilize the established brand style while pushing it a bit further to maintain engagement. We intentionally kept the user interfaces generic, deviating from their actual image, to ensure consistency in the design style. These generic UI elements were used sparingly to create a more pronounced contrast when they appeared on the screen. For the dashboards, we maintained a relatively abstract appearance while still making it evident that they were from Salesforce. This approach will give the animation a longer shelf life as the product dashboards evolve over time, ensuring that the visual elements remain relevant and cohesive with the brand's overall aesthetic.
Motion
This animation technique included coding expressions to keep the elements in constant motion and maintain a dynamic atmosphere. I ensured that the continuity between frames was maintained for a smooth transition. Additionally, I employed a parallax movement in most scenes to add depth to assets such as icons, user interface elements, and other visual components. This approach helped to create an immersive and engaging experience for the viewer.
Process
Initially, I wanted the flow of the video to be relatively quick, as I didn't want it to be a 120-second long video. However, the main challenge was to not compromise the content while also making the video engaging throughout. To achieve this, I tried incorporating shape transitions at appropriate places to maintain visual interest. Since our target audience consists of a more mature demographic, I kept the animation style basic, with minimal complexities and smooth motion overall. This approach ensures that the video remains accessible and appealing to your intended viewers, while effectively conveying the necessary information in a concise manner.
